How Wildlife Can Cause Property Damage

As the temperatures begin to drop, it’s not uncommon for wildlife to seek shelter in and around homes. However, having wild animals in or near your home can pose a number of risks, including damage to property and potential health hazards.

To keep wildlife out of your home during the colder months, there are a few steps you can take. First, make sure to seal any cracks or openings in the exterior of your home that animals may be able to use as entry points. This can include gaps around windows and doors, as well as areas where utilities or pipes enter the home.

In addition, consider setting up barriers such as fencing or netting to prevent animals from entering your yard. You can also make your yard less attractive to wildlife by removing sources of food and shelter, such as bird feeders or piles of leaves. By taking these precautions, you can help to keep wild animals out of your home and reduce the risk of damage or harm.
